May - inspiration

All we can do now is look forward to summer. The world has come to life, the light refuses to let go, and the garden has finally begun to fill with fresh shades of green, delicate petals and the scent of lilac.

In the midst of this wonderful time of year that is spring, we’ve been immersing ourselves in crafts, natural materials and a tactile quality that invites us to pause, experience and simply be in the moment. Just like those newly sprouted little leaves.

Studio Lovisa Heinius - Pojagi

It is no exaggeration to say that we cannot help but be impressed by Lovisa’s craftsmanship and instinctive flair! Through her work with pojagi, a Korean patchwork technique, she has created her own world in which the textiles not only serve a practical purpose, but become little works of art in their own right.

Ringvide - A swedish icon

The Weave collection saw first light in 2011, which later resulted in designer Lukas Dahlén exhibiting at Salone Satellite in Milan a year later.

With an exeptional approach to a craft, being a family company and producing locally on the island of Gotland, Ringvide is truly inspiring, finding its essence in the bridge between materials and technique.

Have a look at the rest of their collections here.
