Our design philosophy
Every project has its own character.
We believe good design starts with understanding the place, the people and how a space will be used. From there, we bring architecture, materials, light and details together to create a strong and considered whole.
Our aim is to create spaces that feel personal and natural, with an identity that lasts over time.
At the studio
Spaces people remember.
We like to work closely with our clients
and stay involved throughout the process.
For us, a good project grows through conversations, ideas and trust. We care just as much about the overall concept as we do about the small details.

What can we help you with?
We believe the best projects grow through close collaboration. By working closely with our clients from the first ideas to the final result, we bring architecture and interior architecture together as one. For us, a project is not just about how a space looks, but how it flows, feels and works as a whole.
Our work spans homes, hotels, restaurants, workplaces and public spaces. Every project comes with its own needs and possibilities, and we approach each one with the same curiosity and care.
We stay involved throughout the process, from the first ideas and early planning to design development and the final details. We enjoy bringing all the different parts of a project together and keeping the journey from the first idea to the finished space clear, considered and personal

Borgagården is taking shape
After months of drawings, ideas and planning, Borgagården in Borgafjäll is now starting to take shape.
Studio nanok is working closely with the owners of Borgagården, supporting them throughout the process with both architecture and interior architecture. Together, we are shaping the new mountain hotel across three floors, including hotel rooms, restaurant, spa and conference spaces.
It is always something special to see a project move from drawings into reality, and we are very much looking forward to following this one as it grows.
More to come from Borgafjäll!

- October inspiration
There is something deeply captivating about objects made with intention. The quiet beauty of natural materials, the traces of the hand, and the feeling that every detail has been given time to find its place.
This October, we’re delighted to introduce the work of our dear friend and talented craftswoman, Emma Larsson.
